Energy Saving Tips

If you do not have a pre rinse unit invest in one. This will help to keep the dishwasher energy efficient and reduce blockages.

If you are based in a hard water area, regenerate your water softener two or three times per week.

Always run a full load.

Make sure the rinse pressure is correct.

If your machine is not cleaning properly it is a sure sign of a problem. This can help you identify basic problems and avoid expensive repairs.

Clean the filters regularly,

Check the wash arms regularly and replace any with faulty bearings.

Check your settings. Your rinse pressure should be set between 15 to 15 pounds per square inch for optimum energy efficiency. And the wash tank set at 160ºF and the booster heater set at 180ºF and the hot water heater set at 140ºF

Trouble Shooting

Will not turn on
Check the fuse and circuit breaker

Not pumping water.
Clean filter, check water supply to the machine i.e. no kinks in the pipe and the water is turned on, unblock drain pump.

Glasses have white film
Hard water minerals are the culprit. You may need to regenerate the water softener more often (Information can be given by the local water authorities /supplier). Check and regenerate your water softener at least twice a week. If you have a Calcium Treatment Unit it may need exchanged.

Poor wash results
Could be clogged spray arms, low water level empty detergent tanks or low setting wash temperature water too low.

Not heating up
It could be a faulty heating element, thermostat or both.
In most cases it's the heating element.
Check with a multi-meter for 115/220V on the heater tags.
if you get this voltage there, you should replace the heating element.
if you can't read the 115/220V on the heater tags, check thermostat's for continuity (you should read a low resistance). If you can't get any measurement, you should replace the thermostat.

Leaking water
Check door seals for dirt and rips. Check rinse jets and arms for lime scale contamination clean if necessary.

Machine overfills
Check the water pressure supply

Water temperature is too low
Raise the temperature of the incoming water supply

Daily recommended cleaning procedure

At the end of each day
Drain the machine
After the unit has drained, turn the power off
Open the door and remove the lower spray arm
Inspect the spray nozzles to make sure that they are free of any debris
Remove the end caps from the spray manifold and clean with a brush. Do not strike the
manifold against solid objects. Flush the manifold with water.
Remove and clean the pump intake screen.
Clean the inside of the wash tank with clean water.
Remove the scrap tray carefully from the drain sump to avoid any waste particles from falling into the drain sump and empty any waste back flush the scrap tray until it is clean, but do not strike the scrap tray against solid objects.
Thoroughly clean the interior of the drain sump.
Check the levels of the chemical containers and refill priming the pumps if necessary.
Replace the scrap tray.
Replace the pump intake screen.
Replace the manifold end caps.
Replace the manifold and any screws making sure it rotates freely
Leave the door open overnight to allow drying.
